Email #9: Working On The Visual Elements

Dear <firstname> ,

Your look & feel refers to the general
appearance of what people see. The visual
impacts the memory of a person quite
significantly. Hence the visual elements
you use must support your Branding.

Use shades of colors that capture your
personality. Do you feel like the earth tone
sort, which depicts perhaps a warm human
atmosphere? Or do you feel like the vibrant
loud colors, which depict you as the wild type?

The graphics you use, do hard corners best
represent you? Or do you feel that the soft
edges reflect your personality more? Also is
your brand better served with bolded large
fonts or otherwise?

Solidify your look and feel with a collective
imagination. Start by taking out a blank piece
of white paper. Use colors and crayons. Use
your imagination and sketch a piece of art. Just
let your creativity flow and put the visual elements
together.

Once youve completed that exercise, you should
be able to make up some of your visual elements.
Now, check your branding and make sure this desired
look and feel best represents you and translates the
messages and ideas you want to portray.

Moving on, each time you design a new blog, squeeze
page or upload pictures of yourself, reconfirm that the
visual elements correlates to the look and feel of your
personality. Keep in mind that what you want to create
 here is a consistent theme.

Next we'll talk about the various methods of establishing
the identity of your online business.
